These glamping experiences near, or on, Vancouver Island are sure to delight and surprise you. From breaking waves and rustling pines to whale tails and gourmet food. Free Spirit Spheres in BC

If you’re looking for an out-of-the-ordinary glamping trip, try booking a tree sphere in beautiful Vancouver Island. The Free Spirit Spheres are custom-built bulbs floating 10 to 15 feet above the ground, swaying slightly in the trees, and accessed by stairs.

The three different spheres offer heated rooms with fold-up double beds, adjustable lighting, built-in speakers, and a private electric composting outhouse on the ground. Some of the spheres include a small fridge, sink, counter space, and coffee maker. Enjoy nearby salmon hatcheries, Horne Lake caves, ziplining, and kayaking. Located between Nanaimo and Courtenay, or a less than three-hour drive from Victoria.
